There are a host of body kits available for the 3 series. I believe the 03 bread n butter cars do have the M3 style headlights but keep in mind (and please correct my if I am wrong) the M3 has a wider track, hence the car’s wide-bodied look. This means you will have to go far beyond just upgrading the body panels and get into supension and wheels. Your best bet? While I love E46’s, buy a first generation M3 (86-93 or so) if you can find one. They have the 4-cyl block from BMW’s F1 effort of the time, and produce around 195hp which is 20 more than an 03 325. Not to mention, they are classics.

Don"t worry. There are M packages for regular E46 cars. And this includes the bumper you are looking for (p/n 51 110 029 880 and
    51 117 893 328).

you can do the conversion but you will need to buy the bumper support as well
other than that its a very easy fit
