BMW M3 (E46) estimate for 20y/o?

Hi, I'm looking to get an E46 (2001-2005) BMW M3 and need to know what insurance would be like.. Details:

I am 20 years old
I have no points
I've been in one fender bender
I'm a full-time student with a 3.8 GPA
I'm going to med-school in a year (already accepted)
Had my license since I've been 17 (3+ yrs)
Mom & Dad both have licenses, little sister does not
Any other info needed just ask

Please, I am not looking for guesses or "it'll be expensive, just get a honda" -- good estimates or actual numbers if you have the car only.. thank you so much!!

    hi there,
    i had an e46 m3 ‘06 bought it new, i had 5 points and i was 27 at the time. i had full coverage with one of the best policies available by Geico. I was paying about $1550 for six months.
    Mind you that my situation was quite different, since the car was brand new, and i had points, but i was over the magical 25yr line. regardless it should be somewhat of comparison.
    However, if you want a realistic quote, just call an ins. agent and they will get you a more realistic number than what you’ll find here.
    At the end of the day, everyones situation will be different, since we’re all like snowflakes…. :o )

    Budget about $150 – $200 per month for comp and collision (full coverage) for someone your age with an E46 M3. You might get it down if you go under your parent’s policy (multi-car) discount and see whether your parents qualify for any other discounts (professions, good driving, home, etc.).

    Go to e46fanatics.com to see what other people your age are paying and lots of online insurance companies can give you quotes too.
