Sport Exhaust and air filter for my BMW M3 E46?

I have a BMW M3 E46 343 horse power and need to know what kind of horse power will it give me if I install a Sport Exhaust and a air filter?

remember the rated add-ons from these installations is at the crank, and even if it puts through additional 20hp little of it gets to the rear wheels – for the power you are running in terms of real performance – gain will be negligible (better sound maybe).

really considering your car already delivers a thumping plus 300hp to get a serious performance increase you will have to go supercharger or turbocharger.
since it will be low boost (under 7 pounds say) i would recommend a supercharger (turbos are great for high boost)
    -lighter
    -easier/cheaper installation
    -runs cooler at boost

this will give you a true gain when you WOT (wide open throttle) of 125hp plus.

The factory exhaust is fairly decent already. So, ballpark… maybe 20 or 25. I’ve never done it on a Bimmer. Actually I got about 30 on a 350Z. If you’ve got the green for a GOOD exhaust system then go for it, it’s not going to hurt you.
