Which is a better car? 2004 Mazda rx-8 or an infiniti g35 coupe or a Bmw M3 e46?

I'm going to be getting my first car this summer, and i want to make sure its the right car for me. The cars i'm looking at are the mazda rx8, infiniti g35 coupe, and a bmw m3 e46. I know bmw seems like the way to go, but i think theres more to the infiniti and the mazda than just the names.

Not the right answer but an honest answer would be to take them all out and see which one suits you,i have drove cars which are supposed to be really great and found them rubbish i have drove cars which are not as good which have been really great cars to me,we all enjoy our own things.

The cars you have mentioned are all good cars,
the rx has a good name a reviews are always good.

the BMW again is a safe name and offers a good car.

the infinti g35 is another great car and all but a 350z and based on the Nissan skyline 350gt range.

nice review i read of one of the cars.

compared to the infiniti and bmw, the mazda just doesn’t cut it. i like the G35. it’s a very good looking car but it feels as bulky as it looks. and i’m an audi guy and prefer the S and RS lines from Audi over M’s but the M3 is a very respectable machine, and I’d choose the M3 over the infiniti and espeically over the mazda.

Depends, are they in good condition? is it a stickshift(I hope it is…)? and also what year is the BMW and the Infiniti? If they are in good condition and ARE stick, id say the BMW M3

I love all those cars, but I would take a E46 M3 over the RX8 and G35 in a heartbeat. the M3 is a true drivers car, and I think its the last M3 to have a inline-6 (M3’s are V8’s now). Not to mention, the car has about 333hp from a 3.2L engine, yes, thats more then 100hp PER LITRE!

Look at it this way, G35, and the RX8 are fast cars…great to drive, I will give them that. Could they be faster? Maybe. But when you get behind the wheels in an M3, you could tell that this is a special car…from the engine noise to the road feel, it strikes a perfect balance to suit the need for performance and a daily driver.

    Infiniti G35 Coupe

Easiest to take care of. Cheapest to own. Easiest to drive in rain.

The RX-8 has a rotary engine and unless you know a lot about rotarys, you should not buy one.

The M3 is very slippery in rain and very expensive to insure or maintain or fix.

RX-8, it has the best doors ever!!!!!

BMWs are for people who think they are cool…

    but really AREN’T.

    Infiniti is a Mazda anyway

Without a single doubt in my mind the E46 M3. Regarded as the best M3, it’s a driver’s car and a half, and still with the quality and features of Bimmer. A close second though would be the RX8. I previously didn’t like it because of the lack of a turbo which meant it was actually slower than its predecessor the RX7, but it’s warmed on me. Especially the new GT. But the M3 has an absolutely superb engine and matching dynamics, and very sexy looks. Also one thing to clear up:

Asheigh M, Infiniti is technically Nissan, not Mazda. Look it up before you state claims such as that. And also it is not BASED on the Nissan Skyline V35/350GT, it IS the 350GT just with a North American brand name.
