    The CLK DTM is the superior car, it has the 7 speed automatic developed by Mercedes which I find telepathic and AMGs experience in modifying Mercedes Cars can be seen clearly

    I really don’t know anything about the DTM version of the CLK. I suppose you’re not referring to the Deutsche Touring Meisterschaft Circuit Car.

    All I know is that the M3 CSL is one of the best manouvering BMW’s out there (driven one last summer). Much better in handling than the M6.

    the m3 csl is developed as mostly a handling package to signify the departure of that generation of 3 series. the dtm amg is actually the street version of a racecar. it is tuned to a much higher level and is better than a csl. however the csl is considerably cheaper, (50k) than the dtm (150k) and there were more of them.

    first both of these cars have different hearts, the bmw e46 m3 csl has a 3.2 liter inline 6 engine while the mercedez-benz clk dtm amg has an amg 5.4 liter supercharged V8 engine, now with that alone you can say that the clk has a bigger heart than the beemer, the m3 has a top speed of 250 kph or 155.3 mph while the clk can reach 320.0 kph or 198.8 mph, it’s pretty obvious to know which car’s faster, but the difference is in the handling of the car, the m3 has a very agile handling but i cant say the same with the clk because of it’s weight, and the appearance, the m3 looks pretty much what a beemer should be and the clk looks pretty much what mercedez should be, the clk scores points for me coz it has alot more detail than the m3, overall for me the clk dtm wins for it’s speed and looks but the m3 aint that far it’s still pretty good for me coz of it’s handling and price which is alot cheaper than the mercedez

    clk by far. mercedes beats bmw anyday. plus that car is beautiful
