why do some e46 m3’s have one hole on the front bumper and some e46 m3’s have two holes?

Does the CSL have a specific bumper im aware that the one on the front bumper is for the intake but just curious as to why some have one and some have two?????

    The original CSL bumper has one for the intake.

    The aftermarket two for looks.
