it will require some more extensive work. The biggest difference in these cars (when it comes to supercharging) is the intake manifold. The M3 uses independent butterflies for each cylinder and the 3 series uses conventional manifold with a single butterfly. You will have to find a new manifold to fit the supercharger to, BMW tuner sites sell them. Your stock manifold will need to be replaced alltogether.
The software will be tricky, otherwise it will not work good at all. You will need to find a tuner who can send you a replacement unit.
fitting the supercharger should not be to big of a problem but programming the computer might be a little more difficult but there be a speed shop that would be able to help you in your area or you could try the bmw forums on the net
