The BMW E-46 has different sized wheels between the front and rear of the car. Therefore. the offset of the E-46 M-3 wheels will be different from the E-36 wheels. Be aware that BMW also offered 16, and 17 inch wheels for the E-36 cars. Of course, tire sizes have to be matched up for the front and rear of the car as well. Best not to buy any wheels or tires until you have tried them on both the front and rear of your 325i.
Bolt pattern wise YES but you need to go research the offset of the wheel I believe there is about a 3/4" difference. this will cause tire rub and premature suspension part failure..
